Mix FM started broadcasting in Lebanon on the 23rd of February 1996 using advanced transmission equipment and digital processors in order to give its listeners the highest possible quality sound.
In the first couple of years, Mix FM has built its brand and reputation for being Lebanon number one hit music station, which has lead to an increase in popularity amongst Lebanese listeners. The long and intensive effort of the team paid off in 2004 when Mix FM received the award for Best TV ad for a Media "Phoenix de La Pub ".
Over the years, Mix FM has created numerous exclusive affiliations with renowned companies in Lebanon. In 2005, Mix FM partnered up with Mzaar Ski Resort and became the official radio station for all their sports events, fashion shows and much more. In 2006, Mix FM partnered up with the Beirut Marathon Association known for hosting the biggest and most popular marathon in the entire Middle East.
One of Mix FM's biggest achievements was on the 23rd of May 2006, when we took part in the International Radio Conference (IRC) Radio Cast Awards. Out of 50 candidates Mix FM came in 1st place winning the most prestigious title in the field of radio broadcasting:
